"ROCK n the Flamin' Cowboys" are a 4 piece Country Rock band that love to dress up as real cowboys and get down n have a hoot with the crowd. The boys play everything in a night from music that has a Country, Rock and blues feel and love audience participation. They just want the crowd to let loose n have fun with them. This isn't your old style country but real kickass country rock that crosses over to new style and with a mix of contempary pop that is popular on the radio today.
The cowboys have just made a purchase of the latest in sound systems with real clarity and drive to give their fans an even better night and are always striving to improve.
You can get a CD of their originals and hear their version of Country Rock which the boys by the way think is great.
Rock Rogers heads the line up on guitar and vocals, Lil' Rock (shorty) on Bass and Vocals, John Maloney (Mr Fixit) is the quiet one of the band on drums and Jason Terry (alias Smiley) has jumped in the saddle and taken hold of the reins to lead the band on guitar. Rock's quite happy to let the fingers cool down a bit.
Rock goes cordless so he can get down with the crowd and join in with the fun. Everyone's welcome from linedancers to rock n rollers to cowboys to just plain foot tappers. The more the merrier.
Rock himself has participated in the dance scene learning the steps to understand the viewpoint of those on the floor. He'll even prove it by joining in and grabbing a filly or two.
